We make depth feel effortless
Aether started with a stubborn belief: the web can feel three-dimensional without melting a phone or burning a quarter of engineering time. So we built the engine we wished we had.
The problem we kept hitting
Every team wanted the Apple-keynote scroll moment. Every team hit the same wall — WebGL is heavy, it janks on mobile, and a rebrand means rebuilding from scratch. People shipped flat pages and called it pragmatism.
What we did about it
We separated the magic from the maintenance. A pre-rendered frame engine gives you the cinematic 3D; a token system makes the whole thing reskinnable in an afternoon. The hard parts are solved once, for everyone.
The principles behind every decision
Taste is a feature
Restraint, rhythm, and one signature moment beat a pile of effects every time.
Fast is non-negotiable
If it drops frames on a three-year-old phone, it isn't done. Performance is the baseline, not the bonus.
Accessible by default
Reduced-motion, real contrast, and keyboard support ship in the box — never as an afterthought.
Built to hand off
Typed code, design tokens, and Figma parity so design and engineering never drift apart.
A small crew, sweating the details
